EDEM
EDEM (Escuela de Empresarios) is a business school located in Valencia, Spain, that offers pre-university courses. These courses are designed to prepare students for university studies in business-related fields. They typically cover foundational topics such as economics, accounting, marketing, and management, providing students with a solid understanding of key concepts before they begin their university education. MUN
(Model United Nations)
Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational activity where students simulate the workings of the United Nations. They represent different countries, discuss global issues, and draft resolutions. It helps develop skills like public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking. MUN fosters cultural exchange and prepares students for future careers in diplomacy and international relations.
Model United Nations offers students a unique and enriching experience that combines academic learning with practical skills development, global awareness, and opportunities for personal growth.
Clubs
At first were a way of evading study, but then I realised that many of the clubs I went to were things that I didn't enjoy too much, and I realised that the time I was 'wasting' in things I didn't really like, I could do things I enjoyed and discovered these things showed you advantageous skills that would be useful in a future...

Duke of Edimburgh
The DofE program encourages participants to set and achieve personal goals, step out of their comfort zones, and engage in activities that challenge them both mentally and physically. Completion of the program and achievement of the Gold award are widely recognized as prestigious accomplishments, reflecting a commitment to personal development, leadership, and community service.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a selfless act of giving one's time and effort to help others or support a cause without expecting anything in return. It is driven by compassion, empathy, and a desire to make a positive impact on individuals, communities, or the environment. Personally, I have a deep passion for volunteering and have been involved in various volunteering initiatives for a significant period of time.
LES Sailors
I needed to link the school and my sport so I created a student led club for the students and by the students, this club helps you get a taste of what it feels like to be in a boat and helps you obtain the necessary contacts to continue sailing. I had some help from some school staff to organise events and create a uniform with our logos, it was a hard task, we had meetings sometimes with members of the school that sailed led by me, and developed our ideas to create a better club.
Working Experience
Work experiences are short-term opportunities for individuals to gain practical exposure to a particular industry, profession, or workplace environment. Work experiences can take various forms, including internships, job shadowing, volunteering, and short-term placements. During work experiences, participants have the opportunity to observe professionals in action, learn about the day-to-day operations of a workplace, and acquire hands-on skills relevant to their chosen field. Work experiences can provide valuable insights into different industries, help individuals build professional networks, and enhance their resumes for future employment opportunities.
